The Pro Clima Range
Pro Clima makes building envelope systems: the membranes, tapes and sealants that control where air and moisture go in a building.
The word system matters. A weather resistive barrier that is not properly sealed at its junctions is not doing the job it was specified for, and the most common failure in an otherwise good build is a good membrane connected badly. Pro Clima products are designed and tested to work together, which is why we supply the range rather than individual lines.
The products are made in Germany and engineered for Australian conditions. Pro Clima Australia has been operating here since 2010, and the systems are BRANZ appraised and Passive House Institute certified.
We stock the range at Pearces Creek in the Northern Rivers and in Brisbane, and supply it to hardware stores and trade merchants across New South Wales and South East Queensland.
Weathertightness
Membranes that go on the outside of the structure. They shed water and wind while letting moisture vapour escape from within the building, which is what vapour permeable means and why it matters under NCC 2022.
The SOLITEX range covers walls and roofs, including fully self-adhered options for rigid substrates.
Airtightness
Membranes that go on the inside. They stop conditioned air leaking out and control how much moisture vapour moves into the wall or roof cavity from within the building.
INTELLO PLUS is an intelligent air barrier, meaning its vapour permeability changes with humidity conditions rather than staying fixed.
Tapes and Accessories
The connection products. Sealing tapes for laps and junctions, window and door connection strips, penetration grommets, primers and adhesives.
This is where most of the performance is won or lost.
