Pro Clima Supplier Gold Coast
Stock From Both Directions
The Gold Coast sits between our two warehouses, which is a genuine advantage rather than a line on a map.
Pearces Creek in the Northern Rivers is an hour south. Brisbane is an hour north. For a Gold Coast stockist that means we can supply from whichever has stock and whichever is faster on the day, and it means a shortage in one warehouse does not become your problem.
Most Gold Coast deliveries are next business day.
Supplying the Gold Coast
We supply hardware stores and trade merchants from Coomera down to Currumbin and inland through Nerang and the hinterland.
It is one of the more active building regions in the country, and one where the envelope matters more than the volume of construction might suggest. Coastal exposure, a humid subtropical climate, high-rise and low-rise going up side by side, and a lot of work happening fast.
Training on the Gold Coast
We run regular sessions in South East Queensland, and the Gold Coast is where most of them happen.
A recent evening session at Burleigh Heads, run with Arthaus Projects and Highwood Timber, covered high-performance building systems: airtightness, moisture control and structural ventilation, with product demonstrations and installation methods. Sessions like that generally run free, with catering, and numbers limited.
We also run product training for retail staff at stockist stores at no cost.
Gold Coast Stockists
Stores near the border may also appear on our Northern Rivers listing, since a Tweed Heads merchant serves both sides of it.
Coastal and Multi-Residential Considerations
Two things make the Gold Coast envelope different to inland South East Queensland.
Coastal exposure. Wind-driven rain arrives horizontally and finds cladding joints that would never leak further inland. Salt-laden air degrades fixings and anything relying on them to stay sealed. Adhesive-sealed junctions outperform mechanically fixed ones near the beach.
Multi-residential construction. The NCC condensation provisions apply to sole-occupancy units of Class 2 buildings and Class 4 parts of buildings as well as to houses, which means apartment work carries the same vapour permeance requirements. On a Class 2 building the consequences of getting it wrong are multiplied by the number of units, and the remediation cost is not comparable to a single dwelling.
Beyond that, the climate zone 2 considerations apply here as they do across South East Queensland: inward vapour drive for much of the year, ventilated cavities earning their cost, and internal vapour barriers being a risk rather than a safeguard.
