Pro Clima Supplier Queensland
Supplying Pro Clima Across South East Queensland
Scholten Group is a Pro Clima Partner and distributor supplying hardware stores and trade merchants across South East Queensland from our Brisbane base.
Our primary supply area includes Greater Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan and the border region.
For projects further north or elsewhere in Queensland, check the Pro Clima Australia partner network for the most appropriate supplier.
Our Brisbane Warehouse
We established a Brisbane base to shorten supply lines and support the growing Pro Clima network throughout South East Queensland.
Holding stock locally makes it easier for merchants to replenish the range quickly and gives builders better access to product through their local supplier.

Building Envelopes in South East Queensland
Brisbane and much of South East Queensland sit in ABCB climate zone 2, characterised by warm humid summers and mild winters.
Moisture management in this climate should not simply copy a wall or roof assembly designed for Melbourne, Canberra or another cooler climate.
The performance of the building envelope depends on the interaction between the weather resistive layer, airtightness, vapour control, insulation, cladding system, cavities, indoor humidity and mechanical cooling.
Pro Clima’s own hygrothermal modelling for Brisbane demonstrates the importance of combining airtight construction with an appropriate moisture management strategy. The objective is to reduce moisture entry while maintaining adequate drying potential within the assembly.
For unusual assemblies or higher risk projects, project specific hygrothermal analysis may be appropriate rather than relying on a generic rule of thumb.
Training in Queensland
We run training for builders, trades and merchant teams throughout South East Queensland.
Recent Gold Coast sessions have covered airtightness, moisture management, building envelope systems and installation methods, with many events involving Pro Clima technical specialists alongside hands-on product work.
FAQs
Do the NCC vapour permeance requirements apply in Queensland?
Most of South East Queensland sits in climate zone 2, which is not subject to the minimum vapour permeance requirements that the NCC 2022 Deemed-to-Satisfy provisions set for climate zones 4 to 8.
Some elevated inland areas fall into cooler zones, so check the actual project address on the ABCB Climate Map rather than assuming by region.
Either way, moisture management still matters. The appropriate membrane and vapour control strategy should be selected as part of the complete building envelope design.
