Since NCC 2022 came into effect, vapour permeable membranes are no longer optional in most of Australia. In climate zones 4 and 5 a pliable building membrane in an external wall must be Class 3 or Class 4. In zones 6, 7 and 8 it must be Class 4. Condensation management stopped being a Passive House concern and became a code requirement for ordinary Class 1 dwellings.

That means the builders who come into your store are already buying this product. The question is whether they are buying it from you or ordering it online from Sydney or Melbourne with a week of freight attached.

Most of our stockists came to us because a builder asked them twice for something they did not carry.

We Sell Through Retailers, Never Around Them

We do not have an online shop. We do not publish prices. We do not sell to builders, owner-builders, or anyone else who walks past your front door to get to us.

Every enquiry that reaches us from a builder gets directed to their nearest stockist by name. That is not a courtesy, it is how the business is structured. Our old website had a shop on it and we took it down, because we could not credibly ask a merchant to stock a product while competing with them for the same customer.

If you carry Pro Clima, we are not a competitor. We are your supplier.

What You Get

Stock from two warehouses. Pearces Creek in the Northern Rivers and Brisbane. Most orders in our core regions arrive the next business day. We will tell you honestly what the freight looks like to your location before you commit to anything.

Product training for your staff. Membranes are a technical sell. A builder asking which membrane he needs for a climate zone 2 job wants an answer, and if your counter staff cannot give him one he will find someone who can. We run training for retail staff covering what the products do, what the code requires, and the five questions builders actually ask.

Training days that bring builders to you. We run hands-on installation sessions for trades, often with Pro Clima’s technical engineers. These can be held at your store or nearby. Builders who attend a training day generally buy from whoever hosted it.

Technical support, same day. If a builder is standing at your counter with a question nobody can answer, call us. Both directors have installed every product in the range.

Listing in our stockist directory. Your store appears on our stockist finder and on the regional pages for your area, so builders searching for Pro Clima near them find you.

Point of sale material. Product information, sample boards and catalogues for the counter.

What We Look For

We supply physical retail and trade merchant businesses. Hardware stores, building supply yards, timber merchants, independents and banner group members.

We are not looking to supply builders, subcontractors, owner-builders, or online-only resellers. If you are a builder wanting product, our stockist directory will find you the closest store.

We do not require exclusivity and we do not ask you to drop other lines.

Starting Small

Most new stockists begin with three lines: a wall membrane, a roof membrane and a sealing tape. Between them those cover the majority of what a builder walks in asking for under NCC 2022.

That is a small commitment of shelf space and capital. If it moves, you extend the range. If it does not, you have not bet the store on it. We would rather you started with three lines that sell than fifteen that sit.

Questions From Retailers

What is the minimum order?

There is no set minimum. We will talk through a sensible opening order based on your location and customer base, and it is usually smaller than people expect.

How quickly can you deliver?

Next business day to most of the Northern Rivers, Gold Coast and Greater Brisbane from our two warehouses. Longer for the Mid North Coast and Central West. We will give you real timeframes for your location rather than a general promise.

Will you sell direct to builders in my area?

No. Builders who contact us are referred to their nearest stockist.

Do you offer sale or return?

Not as a standing arrangement. Talk to us about your first order and we will work something out that is fair to both of us.

Do we need trained staff to sell it?

No, but it helps, which is why we provide the training at no cost.

Do you supply point of sale material?

Yes. Product information, sample boards and catalogues.
